70 Chevelle Ss

My 70 Chevelle Ss. Does Any One Know If There Are Any Mounting Brackets That Go On The Front Fender Extensions On The Top Inside Upper. I Have A Space There And Nothing To Mount To. Is There Any L Brackets That Go There. Otherwise I Will Have To Make Some. Would Appriciate Any Help Here. Thanks, Larry

Mntg brkts

Don't know first hand, but I did a little reasearch & found a Factory Assembly Manual on e-bay for $24.95! A bit expensive to find your answer but maybe nice to have!

Yes there are L-shaped brackets that hold the outer edge of the headlamp ext.
They only way to get them is throu a junkyard, ebay or making them yourself, they are NOT sold repo.

2 Mounting Brackets

Svlt is correct. There are two small (less than 1 inch wide and about 1.25 inch tall) brackets that attach the two fender extensions to the core support. I had made two for my chevelle and at the last minute found a pair of them from a local guy out here who sells chevelle parts.
His name is Joe Vega and his number is 602-298-7090. You might give him a call. If he doesn't have them he could probably point you in the right direction. He advertises in the Team Chevelle site and is very reasonable.
