'70 Impala performance suspension

I am looking for info about making the front suspension on my '70 Impala better adapted to performance street driving, canyon-carving style?
It is right now all stock with polyurethane bushings, with stock disc brakes. I will be using modern, wider, low profile tires.
Anyone has experience with this kind of car?
What company sells parts? It is not yet a very popular car for aftermarket, it seems...
Thanks!

www.performancesuspension.com would be one place to start... just do a Google search, you should turn up several companies that offer parts. I have a 66 myself... just understand that you own a land yacht and it will never handle like a vette... that being said, there are definitely upgrades to be made. Better springs, sway bars, tubular control arms, etc. What really limits our choices is the fact that we have unequal length control arms for the front suspension, so pretty much all of the choices are Impala specific

I know it is a land yacht, that is why I love it! I just need the front end to be able to follow the blown 6.0 liter engine...
Tubular control arms offering better camber would be cool, but I have not found any yet...

OK, so in the meantime, I have kept Googling and have a place that sells tubular control arms, Performance online. They say they are the only ones selling those.
Now, I wonder what difference it will make in the driving of the car, compared to stock suspension with polyurethane bushings and big sway-bar. I will never do timed events (autocross...), so... The extra available caster will be good, but will I be able to feel a difference on twisting roads...?
It is worth the $700 for arms, springs and shocks?

The question of is it worth it is always a personal one, in my book. A couple of years ago, I had to replace my upper and lower passenger side after a near accident broke both. Hunting down stock replacements, plus the price of new springs and shocks (all 4 corners) set me back 700, so considering the added strength and adjustability, I would personally say yes.
