A customer core brought into our shop. He will need a different core to rebuild I am sure.

Dont worry how old you are... it is the mileage on your body that adds up.

Hope there was a strong floor board or shield above that case. Did the customer mention what he was doing just before it blew (IE racing, towing, ?)

How common is that???

I've never had a transmission go bad, much less blow like that. Were there any warning signs/noises? As posted above: What was he using the vehicle for? Was it driven really hard and blew, or did something just go wrong...and fast? Thanks for sharing the great picture.

Does he really expect you to be able to do anything with that?
