700r ID #'s

I've recently been given a used 700 trans out of a s-10 w/ a v-6 .
they did not know the year of the truck.
I want to rebuild this trans and put it in my 65 c-10 short-bed p/u .
I need help to ID the trans so I know what I've got to start with.
The # on the pan rail are OSHM171H , The casting # on the housing is 8663548
Thanks for any help that ya'll can be.

Sir, Thank You .
The link is great. I'd still like to know what the rest of the #'s an letters mean.
I've rebuilt p/g's , 350's and 400's but this is my frist 700 and right now it is on the stand and wraped up till I can gather enough info ,and mad money , to be sure about it.
Thanks, George Hood
