700r shutter in overdrive at low speed/rpm

My 700r in 37 chev coupe recently started to shutter in overdrive at low speed/rpm(no tach).Very bad from 40 to 60 then dissapearing.
Tranny pulled new clutches and torque converter and misc. work done by trans expert, drive shaft also balanced.Lasted only briefly before shutter returned, any suggestions or help appreciated thanks in advance.

It may not be a driveline problem, it may a ignition issue. At that speed the car would be in direct lockup like a manual transmisson that puts a big load on the motor at low RPM. You may have a bad spark plug or spark plug wire shorting out on the exhaust manifold, that can really fool you, it happened to me before. Try wetting down the ignition wires with water while the car is idling and watch for any acring, use lots of water and do it before the motor gets really gets hot, any arcing would be easily seen or heard.
