700r transmission problem

96 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 700r trans.
My transmission will vibrate and shutter just before downshifting from overdrive. This problem only occurs in overdrive. All other gears downshift fine. Happens at about 45-50mph when accelerating. no codes found

4l60 e trouble

first thought would be converter clutch shudder, but whats the mileage? do you have it lifted with a kit, big tires? have you checked front drive shaft?
no engine misfire code, check freeze frame history codes

Mileage is 134,000 / No lift but have gone up in tire size to 32/11.50/15 / no codes at all.
This problem will only happen after the lock up converter as locked, if I accelerate slightly after the lock up is when the shutter happens, then it will down shift to third gear with a little more throttle. I can get it to operate properly if I tap the brakes just as it starts to shutter. So I’m guessing that it may be the converter or some part of the converter. But I’m far from a professional on this subject. Hope this rings a bell.

Thanks for the response
