700r to turbo 350 speedo

we are about to install a 350 turbo in my sons 88,truck, my question is about the electronic speed odometer. can the 700 tail shaft and gear on the out put shaft be installed on the turbo 350. it is a 6 inch tail shaft.

for the electronic speed-O , the reluctor wheel (metal ring thingy) will fit the t-350 shaft.

You will need a buick - olds - pontiac tail housing of 6 inch length for the t-350 trans to install the sensor into.

the 4l60 - 700 tail housing is too long

what year tailhousings, just wondering because I want to do the same to my 89, it has a 400 now and personally I have never had any luck with them and this one is going south now so a good ol reliable 350 needs to be put in place.
