700r4
I have a 1980 el camino with a th350 that is starting to slip. I was thinking about trying to put in a 700r4 or just rebuilding the th350. A transmission shop told me it would be about $700.00 to rebuild my transmission and put a stall torque converter and trans-cooler in. Does this price sound right? What all would I have to do to put a 700r4 in?

not dogging anyones price, but I would'nt build one for that. You can get good work at this price but.... that's a bit low for my town
