700r4

I am having , I think, pressure problems in the trans. Is there a pressure release valve on a 700r4 trans, and if so, where is it located. When I fill the trans to fill level on the dipstick, I don't have a leak problem. When I drive the car and put it away in the garage, it looks like you poured a quart on the floor. The leak is coming from the detint cable. I have removed the cable, cleaned all fluid off, put a small amount of atv and a new rubber seal, re-installed after a set up time for the atv and still have fluid coming out of the cable mounting area after driving. I am quite complexed right now....Suggestions?

There is a vent pipe on the top of the trans towards the center.

Did you mean perplexed instead of complexed?
Perplexed - Confused, do not understand the problem.
Complexed to my knowledge is not a past tense for complex.
It sounds as though you are complicated instead of the problem being complicated ( a past tense of complex).

This is not ridicule or a put down in any way. Just a little information in case you did not know the difference.
