700r4 2-4 grinding noise
Guys,
Just got my 700r4 back 3 days aga...Put 45 highway miles on it...no problems...Today I took it out for a drive and I got a grinding noise in 4th gear..The noise was not apparent in lockup..Driving it home I noticed it was grinding in 2nd also..and temp was up to 210.....I put a call into the tech who serviced the trans... Any ideas... Thanks, Bob

 Something is way bad... I suspect here is a problem in the sunshell area or front planetary ring gear, given the gears you indicate are noisy... Pull it out....
