700r4

hello my name is dan this is the first time ive been on here (a new member) and yes ive just rebuilt a 327 engine and added a 700r4 stock tranny and put them into a 85 210 truck well right now im in the breakin stage on the motor,but ive noticed the transmission fells like its slipping the faster i go is it because i need to hook up the lockout for forth gear or is the motor to much for the tranny? or is the tranny just need to be rebuilt? thanks dan

IS the TV cable hooked up and adjusted correctly?

I would suggest a lockup kit for the tranny to lock up the converter clutch when in over drive.
