700R4 ATSG manual
I have a 700R4 ATSG manual in it(page 77) states that you should drill hole 44 in the spacer plate out to .093 even if the hole is not present. But they make no mention on this hole in the gasket pages or the VB passages. Has anyone dilled this hole(to help 3-4 shifts-clutches)? I tried calling them, they want $25 to talk to me about it.

If memory serves me right, they are talking about the 3rd accumulator feed hole (band release oil). This is a very good change to employ. Use the gasket as a template to make the hole. The gasket will be teardrop shaped at that location. Make the hole at the small end of the teardrop shaped hole in the gasket. If your plate has the hole you can enlarge it.
