700r4 B&M shift kit
Has anyone had experience with this kit?
I installed one in an 89 700r4 and now 2nd gear slips like mad. All other gears and function work fine. line pressures are all below 200#. Trans was working fine before but was just alitlle soft on the shifts.

That kit works fine. Most valve body kits do the same job.
I suspect that there are installation issues. Is the pressure regulator snap ring in the correct groove? Any check balls missing? Are the separator plate gaskets in the correct location and matched to the plate?

Thanks for the reply. I had to replace the seperator plate with a Transgo universal plate and the b&m gaskets. They lined up ok but I noticed holes in one would be square while coresponding holes in the other would be round . Wondering if one slipped.
Also is there more than one groove for the slipring in the pressurevalve bore? I noticed a ridge and then a groove but the pliers I have wouldnt reach any deeper.
