700r4 bracket -performer carb

I am looking for a tv cable bracket that is designed for a Edelbrock performer carb.

I want one that does not require replacing the trans spring. I have spent 12
hrs searching the web & all the brackets require replacing a internal trans spring or the bracket for a Edelbrock carb will not work on a performer series.

Help.........Don

This one will work if you're using a Carb spacer. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-64512/

Don is your Eddy Carb a Q-Jet, Model 1901,1902,1903,1904 or a Square Bore style? If Q-Jet style the brackets above wont work.

I sure appreciate your help....... My carb is a Edelbrock 4106. The bracket
that is a extension of the metal carb spacer looks like it would mount the cable too high to be a straight shot in to the carb tv attaching point.

It looks like it mounts the cable above the spacer plate or am I looking at it wrong?

Don

Yes the B&M bracket mounts the TV cable above the Plate in the Pic. The Up & down TV cable position isn't that critical. Front to back & side to side is more critical.
The Jet bracket mounts straight to the Carb base.
Many use the Holley, Eddy and Summit brand copies on the Eddy square bore Carbs with no problem combined with the Geometry corrector bracket also.

This shows a Vortec Intake, Eddy Carb and Holley 20-95 Bracket.

Just add a tab to the back end and run a 3" bolt down to the threaded boss behind the carb. Use a spacer between the boss and the bracket to hide the bolt.

The B&M Bracket in above post can be flipped so the TV is on the bottom.

Sorry about the Pic Don. I got the link from a search on MonteCarloSS.com Forum, you have to be a member to see much of anything on it.
There're quite a few Pics here>> http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&s...&aqi=&aql=&oq= may fine something that helps. Many of the Pics/links are from other forums so there should be Info as well.
