700r4 check ball location question

i have a 700r4 cant find out weather the large check ball goes
i have thought it may go in the bottom under the valve body plate
were as the auxiliary goes on top but the auxiliary is exempt?

anyone know were it goes?

im new here

i have a few old cars but one runnuing my friend says to put the transmission in my truck but i have and old firebird that may need transmission engine runs good but tranmission sliped last time been a few years can you tell me what should i do the truck i have to find a drive shaft to fix but the car bolt up
all i have to do is change the tail housing and good to go what do you think?

it goes in the case under the valve body. it is the failsafe checkball.
heres a pic to show where it goes.
