If I am switching from a T350 in my Roadster to a 700r4, what modifications will I have to make in order to make it happen? I know very little about the 700's other than they have a lower first gear and the OD. I am buying an aftermarket 700 that is supposedly rated to 500 HP. It will be a SBC tunnel ram set up with 4.11 gears.

The second project is a 31 Coupe with a BBC. I am contemplating going with a 700 instead of the T400. Anyone else out there running a 700r4 behind a BBC that is making about 500 HP with 4.11 gears?

Would love to hear any feedback / suggestions on the benefits of the 350 vs. 700 or 400 vs. 700 for both builds. Both cars are being built to be cruisers with some track time. Potentially will hit the road for long cruises so that is the primary reason I am looking at the 700r4. Thanks.
