The converter in my 700R4 seems to delay locking up when cold. It locks up at a higher rpm [maybe 1000 rpm] than when the car is warm. Once the car has been driven a short while and reaches operating temperature it works normally. Any suggestions on what to look at would be appreciated.
What type of vehicle? Stock OE vehicle , custom install , street rod?
How is the trans set to lock up the converter clutch?
Hydraulic lock up?
Electric lock up with an internal pressure switch?
How many miles on the trans?
Recent install of this trans?
