700r4 Electrical connector
Ok, I've been looking all over the place for a new weatherproof connector for a 700r4 transmission. Talked to most of the major companies, none have it, or know where to get it. Possibly somebody here knows? This is driving me crazy. I found it at some off-the-wall website, but the price was $45, a bit to much for something that costs about 13 cents to make.

Hi,
Ive got the same problem. Found this company that does them: http://haywireinc.com No good for me, becuase i'm in the UK. However Ive made a temporary one using some poprivets and inline crimp wire splices. Eliot.

Donīt they ship to the UK Eliot, or havīnt you asked, should be able to get anything?
Try this, the long way,go to www.yearone.com click electronics, then OEM replacements where there are weatherpack connectors, WP64 I think will work. Last edited by malc; 06-22-2004 at 02:35 PM.

I dropped them an email but they never replied about shipping to the UK. Its only a $5 part i suppose! Eliot.

First off try, Bauer Millet in Manchester,0161 872 7744 or
American Auto Centre 0121 351 7655 in the UK. Or call GM Sports Salvage in California, 001 408 432 8498 ask for Steve, they might cut off the connector and you can splice it on. They send all over the world. Eliot, I just ordered a five dollar connector from haywireinc.com. I took it as far as needing my credit card number, signing in and all.
