700r4 first gear slip

within the last week my 700r4 has started slipping at the top of first gear at WOT (4500 rpm or so), my fluid level and tv cable adjustment are correct. is my trans done, or is there something i can do to save it. maybe a shift kit, a fulid additive or a manual valvebody... im assuming a manual valve body will give me a higher line pressure. im in no position to buy a new trans, and i need this car to get me to work so a rebuild is out of the question.

easiest thing to do is ( I am serious) to drive the vehicle slower , easier. IF the car is a daily driver needed for basic transportation , drive it easy so it lasts.

IF the tranny is going away , a bandaid will not fix it.

The transmissions demise is forthcoming...once mine started slipping it was less than 2 days - barely got it home and had to have it towed to the transmission shop...

I'd get it to a mechanic you trust ASAP!
