700R4..Front planetary reaction shaft ?

Well this is my 700r4 I have had apart... And my question is the front reaction shaft has 5 cut outs on the ring of the shaft is this normal.. If not what would make this happen. All other internals look in good shape...

700 reaction shaft

perfectly normal, where you want to look is where the rear sun gear bushing rides,if its lightly grooved polish it with 600 paper and you can put a double wide bushing in the sun gear this go round.it will put bushing on fresh shaft.like 5 bucks.
