ive looked an looked for numbers , here is what i have found , passengerside above the rear corner is 7171617MC directly to the side of that number is another stamped number 20AN350 (or O ) H is it an 1987 ? i really need to know as we are trying to put a hydrolic lock up kit in made by transgo kit called a 700 lockup kit , kit number K 61970 . there is susposed to be two dummy pluggs an there are not . there are 3 valvebodies you can remove by taking out the pins but , dudes im in way over my head here. have no problem puttin the steel ball on top of the TCC solenoid, that was simple but where the dummy plug was susposed to be was a 2nd design part an where the second design plug was susposaed to be is a 1st design part the third bore contains a long series of parts , it didnt look like anything i was susposed to mess with so I jus put it back like it was . is there susposed to be more than three bores ? I was told the later modles had only three but a 1987 had 4 ? which is right ? yea I know that is right I cant find any numbers on it any where but those...is the tail shaft spline count a way to tell more about it ? it is all ready in the truck..... I didnt know we were goint to have to put a lock up kit in it to make it shift ...or it would still be sittin in the shop....

i looked again , the tranny is still clean, they look the same, but i will brush em with a brass brush an look again, i know they didnt make any sense thats why i posted them.....
