700R4 / just got a torque converter lock up kit

my chevy won't shift right when it is supposed to hit fourth gear. Maybe we wired it wrong or something. Can anybody help!?

Wires of the electrical have nothing to do with the shift to 4th gear of a 700r4. You have other problems or something was goof'd up during the install of this kit you mention
