700r4 leaking out of the drive shaft yoke vent hole

i rebuilt the 700r4 and after about 10 miles it started leaking out of the vent hole thanks for any help

there is a sleeve that goes on the output shaft that has an oring inside. if you didnt replace it or did not put the sleeve back on, or didnt put the sleeve in the same spot it was before, it will leak through the pinhole at the back of the yoke.

thank you tnsmith10 for your answer i will check i may have not installed itas i do not remember puting anything on that end of the shaft

it goes on right behind the speedometer drive gear. its not uncommon to see this happen as ive seen it left out on the build, mostly from the DIY. they usually leave it off because they dont know what its for or they forget to put it back on. i dont understand why it gets removed off of the shaft as its not like a 350, the output shaft separates from the rear sun gear on a 700, so it doesnt have to come up through the case on teardown and, the speedometer gear doesnt have to be removed either.

once again thank you for your time tnsmith10 sorry for so long respoinding i seen that sleve and as you said i did not take it off but i might have moved it tommorrow i will take the tail shaft off and take a look thanks for the pic it really helped
