700r4 lockup method confirmation

I'm putting an '87 700r4 in my '76 C10 and I've read to get the TC to lockup... I can supply 12v to the front outer pin and jumper the remaining 2 pins together(in the white 4 pin connector on driver side). If this is correct, it would lockup in 4th all the time except when brakes are pushed(using a switch at the brake pedal). Which would technically be all I'd have to do but I've also read that using a vacuum switch will unlock it under acceleration. Which is a good thing... correct? What are you guys' thoughts/opinions/facts on all this?

I think the minimum requirement for controlling the TCC lockup is:
1. brake switch with NO contact for brake lights and NC contact for providing lockup 12v
2. toggle switch on dash to turn off lockup when not needed at slow speeds in 4th gear
3. vaccum switch in engine compartment to disengage lockup under high throttle conditions.

Run power from the NC brake switch thru the toggle switch then thru the vacuum switch to the electrical connection on the trans.

If you are into electrical gadgets, for even better operation you can add a time delay switch and/or a rpm or speed switch to reduce cycling of the lockup under certain conditions.

Yes, Brake Switch from a vehicle that has Cruise Control or a TH350C/250C/200C, TH700R4, TH2004R Trans etc.. will work.
