700r4 - low pressure?

Bought rebuilt 700r4 - but not locally. Mistake acknowledged. Installed correctly and properly adjusted TV cable. However, when shifted into gear it seems to need pressure build-up before moving forward. Is it maybe a bad pump....or something more involved? Thanks for replys.

I discovered when I adjusted my TV cable "properly" with my buddy in the car holding down the gas pedal, full cable pull and then pulled the pan to make sure, it was nowhere close to being correct.
I will only set it this way from now on.

TV cable should not cause the symptoms you have.

are you SURE without a doubt that the tranny was rebuilt?
