Re: 700r4 servo question

========== the servo does 3 basic things.

it applies the band for 2nd gear.

It is the acuumilator for the 3rd gear application.

it applies the band again with a different section of the servo for Over drive

thanks, well i was just wondering if that could be bad... my car shifts into all gears sometimes on its on sometiems you have to manuel shift it, we just replaced all the clutches and seals, the war wasent shifting at all before it would stay in first every know and then we could get it to second and third then it would slip completly out of gear(no overdrive or 4) all the clutches were shot when we took them off, the sprag was still excelent condition( so said the guy at trans-pro tranny shop he specializes in chevy trannys) and so we replaced all of them and now it goes into all the gear sometimes on its on and other times you have to manuel shift it , also when you slow back down sometimes it stays in 3rd or fourth gear and when in fourth gear and punch it it takes a second for the overdrive to kick in.
