700r4 shifting problems

hey i have an 83 camaro with a 350 and a 700r4 and no matter what i set the tv cable to it shifts at 1500 rpms in just about every gear also cuz of this when it gets into 3rd and od it will bog when you hit the gas any adviceor suggestions would be helpfull thank you

If your TV linage is operating correctly as you adjust it.. then it sounds like the internal TV spool valve is stuck in one position and cuase the trans to shift at same RPM - speed each time.

As the vehicle sits in 'park" , engine idles ...at the carb pull the TV cable fully out like the throttle is pulling it.

Pull the TV cable about 10 times from full closed to full open. This sometimes will dislodge a stuck internal spool valve of the TV assembly
