700R4 swap to a T-400 ?
I recently bought a 1986 C10 Silverado with a 305 motor and a broken 700R4, All i have to replace it with is a THM400. Can anybody tell me if it will be a direct fit or if ill need to change my driveshaft / Crossmember / and tranny mount? -Thanks

Regardless, you'll love the TH400. Strong as an tungsten ox transmission. It will survive a 40mph shift into reverse, ask me how I know...
 Oh yeah, don't forget to hook up the downshift electrical connection on the th400 when you do swap it.
