Post 700R4 Transmission shifting problems

This is the first time i have seen this Forum and my first entry!! Be kind!! Anyway, I installed a B&M Super Transkit in this '83 trans ~3 years ago. Has performed flawlessly behind a Banks turbo modified 6.2 since. Lately however has developed a shifting problem where occasionally first to second and second to third shifts are delayed and are very hard, and will not go to fourth. I would think the B&M modified T/V is sticking but don't know if i should mess with this. Think the governor might be sticking, but do not think so for some reason. Anyone out there have any advice? Thanks!!

Could be the TV valve is sticking, or

the TV cable has moved it's adjustment at the throttle. THe TV could be pulling the cable too much or not enough. Too little and the tranny is in the "fail safe" mode. In "fail safe" the tranny thinks you have the throttle Wide open or

the TV modulation "up" valve in the valve body could be stuck.

From your post it sounds like the tranny shifts the same each time no matter where the throttle is at?

Dont worry how old you are... it is the mileage on your body that adds up.
