i was hoping you would tell me
the kit had in the directions(for the servo) to remove the clip and a large spring and install some washers and a different spring. i had the vette servo in there before, do you think i shoud have stuck with the vette servo, or stayed with the directions? its kinda aggervating to do it in the car. i dont know if that would make a diff. in the way it shifts, it seems to rev high in between the shifts now, like it slips?

what servo have you installed?

all I see is the vette servo was removed.

if you installed a part and did not follow directions for that part, how can it function correctly?

THe servo on the side of the case is a multi function unit. IF setup incorrectly you will have poor 2-4 function, also possible to mess up 3rd gear too

when i had it rebuilt , i had a .500 boost valve,ad a vette servo installed.when i put this kit in,i followed thier instructions, and took the big yellow spring out, instaled some washers, and a small spring on the outer part, inbetween the cover part, and the part under it.maybe i should put the servo back the way it was and try it? i think i lost the clip though

You must have read the instructions wrong or something if you left the clip out. The instructions tell you to "temporarily" leave out the "E clip , washer and spring" during the band clearance adjustment phase with the washers that replace the large spring.

After the band adjustment is correct , the instructions tell you to reassemble the entire unit including the "E clip , washer & spring".

Is this what you did?

i understand how you feel,i just had the valve body out of my 350 5 times only to find out that i was installing the kit properly after all.after reaching my limit and getting upset i had to step back for a minute and take a break.it usually comes to me when i do that.after listening to crosley and B&M i decided to check my vaccum lines to be sure and then found my pvc valve out of its hole in the valve cover.its never done that before.hang in there you'll get it and it will have been worth the effort.

the tranny does not function correctly now , so I would install the vette servo in the OE configuration and see what happpens.

I use dozens of the vette servos every month, the 1-2 shift is very firm the way I set them up

Are you saying that putting the PCV valve back into the valve cover fixed the shifting problem?
