700rd trans cooler
I just installed a 700r4 in a 67 checy 1/2 ton truck with a 350 engine, my questions is I'm going to install a trans cooler in front of the radiator. Should this be installed in the presswure line that comes from the trans to the radiator or in the return line and how do you tell the pressure from the return ? Thanks

Install auxilary cooler after the radiator mounted cooler. Cooler flow is bottom out, top in, at the trans. Follow the bottom line to the radiator (into the bottom out the top), then plumb the aux. cooler (in front of the radiator) from the top radiator cooler line into aux cooler, then back to the trans top fitting.
