70'Monte Carlo project 350LT1 swop

well I have a 92' 350 LT1 with 6 speed tarny off a corvette I want to put that in my 70' Monte Carlo I would like to use a carb and manifold but other pepole say that I should use the computer and wirer harness. that is not what I want I would like a real street muscle car . I need help with parts list that will make the swap easier thanks please help with INFO on the parts I Need and where to get better deal on parts thanks Guys

1. GMPP, LT1 dual plane intake #24502592, this should be a kit that lets you remove the opti-spark, also includes a plug for the distributor hole should you decide to keep it.

2. A GM distributor of your choice

3. Now you may want to change your LT1 stock balancer to a Pre Vortec type or add a timing tape to the one you've got. You will have to find true TDC and make a pointer.

4. The LT1 has no provision for a mechanical fuel pump.You will need to install a low pressure electric pump for carbs.

All of this stuff is available at the usual hot rod catalog sites.
