70's Delco Radio

Just wondering if anyone had an older 10 pin delco radio with a plug still in the back ? I have one without the plug, so I don't know which pin is which. Trial and error is not an option because I would hate to blow it up. Searched the net but they don't go back that far.

Thanks in advance..........CRAIG

Have an early 80s` GM am/fm with cassette. It has 3 separate plugs in the back. Would that be the` same?

Schematic

It's been years, so I don't know if they still even exist, but used to be you could find a schematic for almost anything electronic from a company called "Howard W. Sams Photofacts". I did a quick search for them and came up empty.

I'd try putting your part number into google.com and see if you come up with anything. If that don't work, look for a guy that repairs old radios.

Last resort, go to your local library ..or look them up online and ask them about Howard Sams Photofacts. The libraries all used to carry a bunch of them, at least the bigger ones did.

Good luck,
Steve

The 80's style 3 plug is a12 pin set up and is different.
I tried at some local bone yards but they don't seem to want to waste their time with such a low money part. If I had the plug to match the pins then I would know which one is which because I do have the wire code coming out of the car , but not out of radio.

Thanks.............CRAIG
