I have the opportunity to get ahold of a 70 Coronet 500. I'd like to make it look different than all the other 70s Nets/Bees out there, so I was wondering what kind of paint jobs they had in the 70s. I've heard that they had some pretty wild stripes/murals back in the day, but I can't find any pics online. I just don't want it to look factory, because thats been done to death. What was popular back then?
there is an episode of starsky and hutch on the season one dvd set that has some guy that does custom cars...i'd post screenshots if i could, but i have no way of doing that.
i think metalflake was getting popular in the 70's as well as i think candies but not sure as i wasn't around then
