I suppose you mean power rtings? 245 hp @ 4400 and 365 ft/lb @ 2400 for the 2V engine, 290 hp @4800 and 395 ft/lb @ 3200 for the 4V version. Factory 2V has 8.5:1 compression, 4V 10.0:1. Note that these are gross hp numbers -- net hp started in 1972. 72 numbers sound dismal -- 175 hp @ 4000 and 285 ft/lb @ 2400 for 2V, 195 hp @ 4400 and 295 ft/lb @ 2900 for the 4V. All were 8.5:1 72 and later. The tag on the front of the right valve cover has a date code on it. If there is no tag on the front of the cover (check both sides, might be left cover) check the BACK of the opposite cover. The covers will fit on each side if turned around. You can find info to decode the number at www.amcyclopedia.org.
