72-76 impala station wagon 10bolt
Hey I believe i have an eaton posi for one of those weird gm 8.5inch rear axles that they put in the early 70's impala wagons(72-76) it has 28 spline gears and fits in an 8.5 housing but it has 12 bolts holding the ring gear on. i was told it was for a 8.875 axle but it's too big to fit and the ring gear is too big as well. *********************

I sold my Impala Wagon last year
![]() If you put it on Ebay, you'll reach a broad audience. I know I was looking for one on Ebay when I had my wagon. Use the word "clamshell" as a keyword. Those wagons were called clamshells because the glass retracts up in the roof, and the tailgate slides down tracks into the belly pan. |
