Post 72 Chevelle 350 v6 or v8?

This is gonna sound dumb but i'm curious as to whether a 72 Chevelle 350 is a v6 or v8. I thought that it was a v8 but i just read something that said a certain model was a v6. Are all the 350' v6's or was it a misprint? Can someone clear this up?

I think thers was a 305 GMC v6 maybe thats what you read. The 4.3 liter chevy V6 is a 350 with 2 cylinders hacked off that could be what you heard too.But as far as I knew there was never a 6cylinder 350ci of anykind.

Anybody remember seeing those aluminum V-4 small block Chevys in hot rod a while back. Weird but cool. I would like to see one of these in an old T-bucket or something with an exposed engine. Big ole huffer on top, sweeeeeeeeeettttt!
