72 El Camino Cluster Exchange

I just acquired a dash cluster out of an 86 Monte Carlo SS W/Tach. I want to install it in my 82 El Camino. I have been told that the cluster would be a direct plug into my wire harness but the question I have is where the Tach Filter wires need to go? When I got the cluster they were cut to get out it of the donor car easily.

it is not a direct plug in the wiring is differant but its easy enough to rig it to work right, I did the same thing in my 80 el camino I'll see if I can dig up a wiring diagram for you

Wow did I screw up...Thank's scuzzy for the information but my El CAmino is an 82 not a 72 like I typed the first time. I'm very sorry for any confusion that I may have caused but the same question still applies. Oops...Sorry guys
