72 Ford Pickup Brakes

How do I switch from drum to disk brakes on the front of my 72 ford PU??

find a simmilar year truck with discs and swap the knuckle over off the i-beams.. pretty sure you can go all the way to '75. it might require the beams off the donor for some years but I'm not sure which.. you can look at a DJM lowering catalog and find the year groupings for lowering beams to figure it out.. the year groupings will corrospond with stock beams

Best way to do it is to find a 1973 to 79 doaner truck. Swap axles radius arms and spindles. You can use the booster ( so I am told) along with master proportioning valve and of course the brakes. I am converting my 68. Dont use the early brake system. It is not very good.
