'72 Frame Stiffeners
I bought a lot of parts for my '72 El Camino that included two OEM "frame stiffener" brackets for the rear end.
I haven't got a clue about where they bolt on. Anyone?

Well I am here, but I don't have a clue..

They're about 14-15" long. None of the manuals show them. I got them with the four rear control arms.
Yes, that's me on EC Central. That board has a really screwy way to post pics, so I gave up.

Logic says that they have to be for triangulating the crossmember with the side rails maybe where the lower control arms attach.

Anything's possible. It's funny that they weren't shown in any of the GM manuals. Even the F41 assembly didn't show them.
Hopefully somebody's got an idea. If nothing else, I suppose I could duct tape them to the frame somewhere!
