'72 Frame Stiffeners
I bought a lot of parts for my '72 El Camino that included two OEM "frame stiffener" brackets for the rear end.
I haven't got a clue about where they bolt on. Anyone? |

They're about 14-15" long. None of the manuals show them. I got them with the four rear control arms.
Yes, that's me on EC Central. That board has a really screwy way to post pics, so I gave up. |

Anything's possible. It's funny that they weren't shown in any of the GM manuals. Even the F41 assembly didn't show them.
Hopefully somebody's got an idea. If nothing else, I suppose I could duct tape them to the frame somewhere! |
