How fast can you make it go??? As fast as you can dip into your wallet, how fast you go depends on how deep your pockets are, what's your budget?

Here are a couple of places you can browse and read up on your car at.

Like stated you can go as fast as your pockets allow.

Pretty good cars overall, I have 2 of them, but like a chevelle it's a full bodied car so to go fast it takes some grunt to get it moving.

HTH,
Tony

I got a 72 sport with a C engine and factory vinyl top, they all came with 9" rears.

Look real close to see the hint of haveing the trim strips. Vinal tops used them. Could have rust repair. May be they have a trim or body tag saying it.

Like the Man says,MONEY TALKS,AND BULL ***** WALKS.I think the sport did come out with a vinal top.Best way to tell is to check the mouldings along the roof and along the upper qaurters. Most hardtops had no moldings. Torinos came with a 9" rear, with a higher rear such as a 2.73 for full eco/.
You have no race car here.Unless it was a Starkey and Hutch knockoff, this is a low compression motor, and unless you can walk the walk, enjoy what you have and just cruise it.
