72 nova correct H20 temp sender

Looking for the "correct number code" for a temp sender. According to my parts store there is a number imprinted on the sensor and there are two different senors available. I have an "idiot light" gauge package and want to hook it up. YES I have aftermarket readable gauges too, but prefer not to have wires either floppin around or cut them off. So just some good feedback would be helpful. Yeah its silly but its what i would like to do. Thanks.

OK thanks, I will call my wire harness builder to find out for sure. I was hoping for a quick answer, after normal business hours.
