727 torqueflite engine swap question
Hi, a newby with a question. Got a 440 Chrysler engine w/o trans. Friend has 318 with 727 attached. I'm sure some of you are rolling your eyes at this question, but can I mate the 727 and 440? I have not been able to look at the tranny to see if it is obviously too small. If that one is too small, what 727 should I look for? Suggestions, help a guy get a clue?

no the 1 on the 318 is a 727a you need to find one from a big block car .
