73-87 chevy ifs clip to 1954 3/4 ton frame
thats my plan. i,ve read 2 short reports... yea, ez they say. great !!!
all them IFS in truckin magazines are $2200. + $900 installation. which I just cannot justify at my effort to success ratio. I need that money to jump from a "trust me " motor to a "summit racing " motor. again oh brothers of the bloody wrench, and financially questionable club , I must confess my effort to success ratio....it sucks ... i have,nt bought the donor truck yet , so.... what year is best....half ton 5 lugs look damn sturdy to me.... I ,d like to hear from someone who has done it before ...(the more the better ) and anyone who can point me to internet information and links to u tubes that are specific to the 1947 to 1954 trucks thank you. |

The track width will be wider, but you could narrow the cradle.
