73-87 Chevy Truck Bumpers

I just picked up this sweet little lowered shortbox 84 chevy for 2000 bucks.

It has a smoothed tailgate and rear rollpan that looks very clean, I was wondering if anybody knows of a front bumper/spoiler/air dam than would compliment the clean lines of this truck. I have looked at a few places like LMC and ebay but no one seems to make a front bumper that is not all big and chrome.

I would rather not fabricate a custom piece and if it comes down to it I will run the simplest chrome repro piece I can find, but I think a front roll pan might look pretty cool

Any Ideas??

If I remember right; when you take the bumper off those, the front lower part of the front fenders extend down. That would make it real easy to make a simple rolled pan.

I have no clue what bumper would fit without cutting and widening. Trucks are just a lot wider than an early car that might have a thin bumper. Something like an early camaro widened?

Your idea is cool,

You are correct, the fenders extend below the bumper, they are even notched to make the bumper fit more flush,

Fabricating it with sheet metal would probably not be that difficult I would just rather not do it.

WHo makes the front rollpan? I am not sure that I will be able to fit an airdam under the bumper because the truck is so low.

Your welcome,I'm starting to like the front roll pans too,I'm not sure what I'll go with when I build the twin turbo diesel. Be sure to post pics when you get your's on, thats a goodlookin 84 How much is it lowered? I'm thinking about using either the cuda/challenger door handles or the 71-? mustang door handles, for a smoother look but without the hassle of shaved doors and dead remote batteries

Here is a picture I found of a similar truck with the roll pan in front. I think this is exactly the look I am going for.
