'73 Camaro Rear End I.D.

Does anyone know where the I.D. tag is on a '73 Camaro that tells you what kind of rear end it has and what gear is in it? I heard there is a tag somewhere on the rear end but I can't find it.

I know I posted in engine and not rearend. I can't get the post to erase.

Look on the axle tube about 3" from the differintal on the front passenger side. It's probably under a couple layers of rust/grease, and it's stamped. I'd recommend using a wire brush to get all the crap off. If it's not there, check on the driver side in the same place.

Thank you that sight is exactly what I was looking for. I have a '73 Camaro that originally had a 307, but I just built and dropped a 10.5:1 sb 400 in it. It is more torque than the suspension can handle, at least for right now.
