73 pontiac sport coupe

I am trying to rebuild a 1973 pontiac lemans two door coupe and having a terrible time locating body parts ( ie rear quarter panels) most of the places I have sent emails or phoned tell me the rear quaters are no longer made. I am looking for the right and left and possibly a RF fender and stock hood.
Can anybody sugest a restoration supplier?

thanks in advance

AB

Migh have to look into used parts from Arizona salvage yards
Deer Valley Auto Parts not of Phoenix might be able to help

I think the web address is-----------DVAP.com

Not a whole lot available for the Colonade cars yet----and when they become available---it will be Chevy 1st

Personally I think the Buick Century was the best looking of the early colonades.

Welcome to the site race lemans. Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble finding body parts for your LeMans. There are several LeMans owners who are members here. Try doing a search (link towards the top of the page) on "lemans" and check out the members who respond to the threads and who are LeMans owners. Try sending them a Private Message to see if they can help you out. Also you could put a free wanted ad in the Classifieds on this site.

To get the most out of the site check out the Knowledge Base and use the search function for quick answers to your questions. As well check out the Project Journals for info and inspiration. Glad to have you here and enjoy the site.

JC Whitney lists most every car for 1/4 panals. cheapo's that arn't gonna be quite right but if all else fails, they probably do have them. I just had to order a set for my '67 Falcon, no other supplier, hopefully they won't take too much work to look right

Thanks everyone,
I will try the suggested links and advice, not many cars like that left in northern ontario most have been "returned" to the earth in one form or another. So searching in the U S will have to be the way to go.
cheers to all who replied
Andy

1973 body parts

Still no luck on the rear quaters, seems that all the stuff in the salvage yards has turned to dust ,the ones on the car now aren't real bad so I'm gonna get em fixed. Now Big block or small block. At a buck ten a litre I'm thinking SB, maybe even converting to a newer 5.7 port injection Is it a major job to wire this thing? Should I get a donor car/truck?
Cheers

Have you tried looking in Saskatchewan? A friend just bought a very rust free 72 Lemans recently.

As for the newer fuel injected sbc going with a complete donor vehicle would be a way to go. There is lots of complete wiring kits available that will allow you to hook up the computer from the donor.
