73 vw thing

I have a 73 vw thing that has been modivied to a 1800 cc engine jacked up suspension custom brushguard with winch, roll bar etc. I am 68 years young and still like hot rodding. I bought this car new in 73 and never has it seen salt. I would like to further modify the engine, disc brakes and some other cool goodies. looking to talk with someone with similar interests in hot rodding vw's.. Years ago I had a 36 HP Judson supercharged bug. It was fun watching the double takes I got leaving a stoplight.
