74 gto shaker scoop
 

My girlfriend and I have just aquire a 74 gto which is a ventera II that is in very rough shape but i think it will be a a very good learning and beginers project. The cars is complete and in tack except for the shaker scoop. Any ideas of where i might be able to find one? color does not matter because I'm going to paint after i get the car back in shape

If you look on EBAY the shakers from the Trans Ams are pretty cheap.

the only thing about the t/a skoops is it is only for looks and the 74 GTo is an operational skoop

Some of the T/As had the working flap. I will look around this weekend and see if anything pops up.

To airguy 67, I have the air box or filter holder seal etc. off that type gto . It was riveted to the scoop. I used the scoop but I believe all the scoops are alike. Just get any shaker and rivet or bolt on the this air box, then you will have ram-air. I really thouht about keeping the unit together but decided I could always find another scoop to bolt on the box. If this is what you need let me know ; if you have the filter set-up then you have the hardest part to find. email ; musky70401@yahoo.com
