75 chevy monza backhalf project
love this site...hope i can contribute sometime.... anyway...
i bought the 75 monza v8 woth the narrowed chevy diff and a homemade leaf spring back half job. it looks a bit rudimentary...the welds look strong, made from 2x2 tubing. i'm concerned about the area where it mounts to the crossmsmber(also homemade). has anyone any dealings with monzas and can help me with either checking the setup, or recommending a proceedure to instill a mandrel bent unit. i see that jegs has that covered, but i am really looking for some literatire on how this is done properly. theguy used to run this car...but when i bought it, the tires had gouges where the fenderwells were. looks to me i need to massage the fenderwells? thaks in advance for the help i know this group can provide!!! dave. |
